Thank you for your purchase of a Shih Tzu from Silky Silhouette Shih Tzu! A one year Replacement Warrant is given for life threatening congenital diseases not common to the brachycephalic breeds that caused said puppy to expire. A notarized Veterinarian Report with findings stating, to a medical certainty death was caused from the prenatal state will be required. An autopsy must be performed. All vet bills are solely the buyers responsibility. Sller's veterianarain must confirm and agree with the diagnosis. Buyers will be required to send a notarized vet report and all other medical records by registered mail to the seller. The seller will then give buyer a replacement puppy of equal value of the sellers choice from the next available litter.
The warranty is null and void if the Shih Tzu is not up-to-date on vaccinations and fecal records and parasite control or has been abused, poisoned, accidents or neglected, as training philosophies and environments vary amongst individuals.
This WARRANTY ONLY applies to the original buyer, warranty is not transferable if the puppy is sold.
Due to the varying kinds of dog food on the market and the different environmental conditions the dogs come in contact with, we will not guarantee the said puppy or dog unless they're given NuVet Plus daily at the manufacturer's suggested dosage for 1 year (length of the contract). Failure to do so makes this warranty NULL and VOID.
This contract does not include common conditions known to the Shih Tzu: umbilical hernias, pinched nostrils, open fontanels, cherry eye or misaligned teeth. Umbilical hernias are not considered a health problem, if the opening is small, with only a fat pad(no intestines) protruding,it will likely close by itself as the puppy matures, as with the slightly pinched nostrils caused by teething. It is recommended the puppy be allowed to mature before making a decision if surgery is needed.
Hernias must be certified by a vet to be life threatening and to have rendered the puppy unfit for purchase, in order for surgical repair reimbursement to be considered. Seller's vet must also agree to these findings.
To the best of the seller's knowledge and belief, this puppy is in good sound health, free from symtoms of contagious and infectious disease at the time of the sale. Buyer agrees to have the vet checked within 48 hours after the buyer receives the puppy. No further health guarantee is made or implied. If the buyer believes this puppy to be sick, the puppy should be taken immediately to a veterinarian of the buyers choice at the buyers expense.
Once the said puppy has left Silky Silhouette Shih Tzu, Silky Silhouette Shih Tzu is not responsible for any infection, illness or allergies. This guarantee is against life threatening congenital defects.
This contract does not include Coccida and Kennel cough, which is usually caused by bacteria and is common in puppies that are being shipped.
If the puppy is sold with full registration, seller is not responsible for the puppy'sbreed performance for show or the ability to breed or quality of the puppies or litter size. It is the buyers sole responsibility for all bills incurred from breeding this dog.
Seller can not guarantee the size or color the puppy will be when the puppy matures. This is only estimated based in the seller's experience. No guarantee is made or implied.
In the event that the buyer can no longer care for their puppy, they will return the puppy back to Silky Silhouette Shih Tzu, no refund of purchase price. Seller reserves the right for first refusal, if the buyer chooses to place said puppy. As the breeder, I have a life long responsibility to the puppy and will make EVERY effort to keep the puppy out of shelters. Any disputes shall be litigated in the city of Athens, AL County of Limestone.
By signing this contract, both parties( Buyer and Seller) acknowledge that they have read, and do understand and agree with the terms of the contract.
